I take care of my body by eating well, exercising and getting sleep. ![]() I know how to look after myself and be the best that I can be. Working in groups can help to create better ideas. There are over 5,000 Leader in Me schools in all 50 states and in over 50 countries. I know that everyone needs to get better at something. What is Leader in Me Leader in Me is an evidence-based, comprehensive model that builds leadership and life skills in students, creates a high-trust school culture, and lays the foundation for sustained academic achievement. I value other people’s strengths and learn from them. I work and learn with others and take pride in my achievements and environment. Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind I plan ahead and set goals. I try to see things from their viewpoints. Habit 1: Be Proactive - I am a responsible person. I listen to other people’s ideas and feelings. I respect myself and others and celebrate my global community. Your family wins because they are proud of you. I look for solutions to problems, am kind, considerate and show respect for others. I do not put others down to get what I want. I am positive, resilient and work with others to solve problems creatively. I set priorities, make and follow a plan. This means I say no to things I should not do. I spend my time on the things that are most important. I focus and concentrate on work first and then on play. I am an important part of my classroom and my school. I do things that have meaning and make a difference. I understand the importance of learning for life. I do not blame others for my wrong choices and actions. I do the right thing, even when no one is looking. I am a responsible person who takes initiative and chooses my actions, moods and attitudes. Last but not least - asking powerful questions to your team and yourself is one of the best habits you can have as a founder. I am responsible for my own learning and actions. A program that taught young people how to manage priorities, focus on goals, and be a positive influence in their schools The Leader in Me is that program. We are excited to see how promoting the values in the classroom and encouraging all staff in the school to use them consistently we can inspire the children to be the best they can be, even when they are not seen! We can see that this international project will help to support our children’s academic achievements, self-confidence, resilience and potential. There are 40 in England and thousands across the World.Įach child will learn that they are the leader of their own decisions and by utilizing the 7 habits will develop life skills to help them manage the demands of the 21st Century and to become a leader of others. ![]() Plan some time to help someone in need.In September 2019 all the children were introduced to the 7 habits and we joined the international community of Leader in Me Schools.What kinds of things spark your interest? What do you want to continue learning about? Go to the library or search the internet to find reading material on new things.Then ask yourself: Did I enjoy myself? Was it easy or hard? Do I want to learn more? Try something new like painting, horseback riding, or baseball.Instead, I use my expertise to help and inspire others. I have found something that I am good at and really like doing. They recognize, respect and create meaningful opportunities for others to express their voices. Great achievers express their voice by developing their vision, discipline, passion, and conscience. ![]() They align goals and systems and empower others. People who have found their voice focus on expanding their circle of influence, being trustworthy, building trust, blending the voices of others, and creating a common vision.
